Three-star tight end Kekua “Rhino” Aumua committed to Florida's 2026 class on Monday. The IMG Academy (Bradenton, Florida) prospect chose Billy Napier's program over North Carolina, Washington and Cal.
“For the ones who believed in me, Gator boys stay hot!” the 6-foot-6, 260-pound prospect told On3 following his commitment.

Aumua made his commitment following a visit to Florida this past weekend with his parents, sister and grandmother. Fans shared their reactions following his commitment announcement.
"this is an insane take in june," a fan wrote.
"😂😂😂 yall need to say pause after saying (( gaytors boys stay hot )) who the f*ck came up with that sh*t," one wrote.
"Bill B getting stuffed in a locker by Billy Napier it’s over," a netizen wrote.
Ranked as the No. 37 tight end in the 2026 class by the On3 Industry Rankings, Aumua may not be among the top national prospects, but he has been a key target for Florida. His growth at IMG Academy and promising potential in the Southeastern Conference make him a valuable addition to Napier's program.
Gators fans also celebrated this recruiting momentum.
"Every time i get on this app, Napier has a new commit 🔥🐊 we still want Kaiden Prothro tho," a fan wrote.
"No hotter team on the trail. Them boys stay hot!" one added.
"It's over for the rest of the recruiters on the trail when Billy starts signing the Polynesian players," a person wrote.
Aumua joins offensive lineman Chancellor Campbell and athlete Justin Williams as weekend visitors who committed. With his pledge, Florida now has seven commitments for the 2026 class, ranking No. 23 in the nation.
Kekua Aumua opens up about his commitment to Florida
Kekua Aumua is the first tight end to commit to Florida’s 2026 recruiting class. The Gators see him as a versatile and dependable target in the short and intermediate passing game.
Florida tight ends coach Russ Callaway led Aumua’s recruitment.
“The thing that stood out to me is the connection Billy Napier built with us and the connection Coach Callaway kept building with us," Aumua told Gators Online of his commitment. "He started early and didn’t slow down. A lot of these colleges show love and then start slowing down, but Coach Callaway was full speed ahead.
“Their strength and conditioning program; their nutrition program is next level; the way they take care of their athletes is next level."
Aumua enjoys playing tight end because of the position’s unique role in both blocking and receiving. Florida’s coaches have told him they appreciate his ability to play physically at the line of scrimmage and still be a threat as a pass-catcher downfield.
