Nick Saban's wife Terry helped promote the new Children's Hands-On Museum to IGNITE, a one-of-a-kind STEM and Arts campus focusing on education.

The Saban Center, in collaboration with community partners (such as TCT and IGNITE, as well as various other educational initiatives across Alabama), serves as a central hub for educational training, engagement in the arts, and academic assistance for both teachers and families.

While promoting this new initiative, Miss Terry said on Instagram:

"Children will be able to learn with all their senses through interactive experiences."

The Sabans are active in the Tuscaloosa community, organizing various charitable workshops and leaving a lasting legacy through their philanthropy.

Nick Saban details doing household chores in order to play golf

Life after retirement has featured a lot of adjustments for Nick Saban, who is spending a lot more time at home with his wife, Terry Saban. While talking to ESPN, the former HC mentioned that when it comes to household chores, he is just like everyone else.

He also said that completing them allowed him to indulge in his favorite activities, such as golf.

He went into detail, explaining that he has been given "12 commandments" by his wife:

"The day after I retired, I got the 12 commandments of retirement," Saban joked. "I've tried to live by them, but I found out that if I do my chores, then I can go play golf. So I get up early and get my chores done, and then it's like, 'Do I have a free pass to do what I want to do?'
“I make my bed. I take the garbage out. I have to wait for her to eat together, and I have to leave a little food just because that's polite to tell people that you really thought it was good, which I grew up cleaning my plate, so that's not kosher anymore.”

While he may have retired, Saban has not broken his ties to the college football world. The former Alabama head coach attended A-Day and observed it from a suite and is set to appear on the ESPN broadcast of the 2024 NFL draft.
