After 20 days of action in the 2018 Under-19 World Cup, two teams stand with the chance to lift the title on Saturday.

India, unbeaten in the competition thus far, will take on Australia, who have lost just the one game - to their opponents on Saturday at the Bay Oval in Tauranga.

Ahead of the game, we look at five players who will need to play a significant role for their teams.

#5 Prithvi Shaw

The Indian captain has had a terrific tournament thus far, having made 232 runs in 5 matches at an average of 77 with two fifties.

The right-hander, along with Manjot Kalra, has set the tone for the innings with the bat and that has meant the team has posted tall scores on most occasions.

On Sunday, he will once again be banked upon to deliver in one of the biggest days of his career so far.

#4 Jason Sangha

Shaw's counterpart on Saturday - Jason Sangha - has not had a bad tournament himself, having made 216 runs in 5 matches at an average of 43.20.

Along with Jack Edwards, Sangha will hold the key for Australia on Saturday if they are to break India's undefeated streak and win the coveted trophy.

#3 Anukul Roy

While India's fast bowlers have attracted the most attention during the course of the tournament, Anukul Roy, one of the two left-arm spinners, has emerged as one of the stars for India with the ball, having claimed 12 wickets in 5 matches at a miserly economy rate of 3.65.

He also proved to be handy with the bat in the semifinal, stitching a key partnership with Shubman Gill.

Shaw will once again depend on him on Sunday to provide the breakthroughs and it will be interesting to see whether he can control his nerves and deliver for his side on Saturday.

#2 Lloyd Pope

Australia's fortunes with the ball will depend on Pope's leg-spin

Sometimes it takes only one performance to showcase your talent.

After a mediocre outing until the quarterfinal, Lloyd Pope displayed what he was capable of against England, when he single-handedly took his side to a win, claiming figures of 8/35 while defending a mere 127 runs.

If he can put in a similar performance on Saturday, he would have played a big role in his side winning the crown at Tauranga.

#1 Shubman Gill

Can Gill come good on finals' day?
Can Gill come good on finals day?

Gill is a key, key player for both sides on Saturday. India will expect big runs from his bat again while Australia will have to remove him early to restrict India to a moderate total.

The right-hander has had a staggering competition with 341 runs in 5 matches at an average of 170 and if he comes good on Saturday, then he will surely be remembered for his exploits in the years to come.
