Yashasvi Jaiswal has already been seen as a prospect for the Indian senior team. He was the only player in the Vijay Hazare Trophy earlier this season whose strike rate and average, both were over 100 and scored more than 550 runs in the List A tournament with a double-hundred.

The left-hander, who is also a part-time leg spinner, hits the ball hard and has got a big range of shots. He is very strong if any width is provided outside the off-stump and equally efficient in picking the fast bowlers off his legs as well.

Jaiswal has played 20 youth ODIs for India so far and has scored 986 runs at an average of 61.62. He has scored 2 hundreds and 8 fifties. The 17-year old has also taken 8 wickets at an average of 16.25.

Jaiswal recently earned an IPL contract as Rajasthan Royals bought him at a price of INR 2.40 Crore in the IPL 2020 auction.
