Second on the list is none other than Chris Gayle. Having started his career in 1999, he is well known for his destructive batting in all format's of the game. Although more famous and prolific in the shortest format of the game, the left-hander was a very good test batsman as well.

Gayle has a six-hitting ratio of 0.99, which is amazing considering his longevity in international cricket. In a career panned well around 20 years, he has hit 517 sixes in 518 international innings.

Gayle has announced that he will retire from ODIs after the World Cup 2019. Although he is in the last phase of his career, he has shown no signs of slowness. In the last series vs England, he hit 39 sixes in 4 innings. With this kind of form, Gayle is indeed a danger for all the opposition teams in the World Cup.
