3 bowlers who can wreak havoc in the ICC World Cup 2019

Australia v New Zealand - 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup: Final

#2 Mitchell Starc

Australia v England - Game 2
Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Starc is one of the greatest bowlers of the current generation. The southpaw was the player of the tournament in the last edition of the world cup that happened in 2015 at home. He picked up 22 wickets in just 8 matches and breath fire with the ball throughout the tournament. It was only fair that he won the player of the tournament award.

Starc was ruled of the recently concluded IPL 2018 due to right leg injury but will definitely make his comeback into the team and be ready for the 2019 World Cup when the Australians defend their title in England. Starc was also the third-highest wicket-taker in the inaugural edition of the now-famous Big Bash League. He picked up 13 wickets and was the main reason why Sydney Sixers lifted the trophy that edition.

Mitch has represented in the country in 72 ODIs and picked up a staggering 141 wickets with an unbelievable wicket per match ratio of 1.95 and one can only expect Starc to continue and spark a colossal collapse. Coming off an injury and considering the fact that there is not much time left before the world cup, he might not be as lethal as he was in 2015 and so, here is our #2 on this list.
