Chase Master Virat Kohli exhibited his class and exuberance for the umpteenth occasion, as he dispatched the Caribbean bowlers all around the park, making an absolute mockery of a 323-run target. Kohli hit his 36th ODI century, and 20th while chasing and bagged the Man of the Match honours for his batting prowess.

The Indian captain is all set to enter the 10,000 runs mark in ODI cricket and become the fastest to achieve the landmark. He is all set to dethrone maestro Sachin Tendulkar from the apex position in terms of the number of innings.

Sachin brought up his milestone against Australia in 2001, and took 259 innings, while Kohli has notched 9,919 runs in 204 innings. He needs just 81 runs to cross the mark, and given the current state of affairs, we might well see him doing it in the next match, thus, ensuring that he eclipses Tendulkar's record by a big margin.
