#2 MD Thirush Kamini

MD Thirush Kamini was the first woman cricketer to be given out as a virtue of “obstructing the field” against West Indies. Thirush Kamini went for a run which wasn’t there itself and as a result was in danger when the long on fielder threw the ball at the end she was running.
However, Thirush Kamini decided to change the direction while running. As a result, the ball hit the batswoman and she was given out obstructing the field.
All though this was the first instance of obstructing the field dismissal in a women’s cricket match, Thirush Kamini joined the list of few great international players including the likes of Mohinder Amarnath, Inzamam Ul Haq, and Ben Stokes.
