5 cricketers you didn't know acted in movies

Australia v India - 2011 ICC World Cup Quarter-Final

Dinesh Mongia

India's Dinesh Mongia is clean bowled by New Zeala

Dinesh Mongia was an integral part of the Indian cricket team for a few years and provided the side with useful contributions with the bat and the ball.

His claim to fame was the 159 run knock which came against Zimbabwe in the five-match ODI series back in 2002. He was also a part of India's World Cup squad of 2003 where India ended as the runners-up to Australia.

Inconsistent performances led to him being dropped from the Indian side shortly after the World Cup and he hardly featured for India since then.

He acted in a movie called Kabab Mein Haddi where he played a parody of Amitabh Bachchan. However, the movie was not well received by critics or fans.
