The colossus of Indian bowling for years, Zaheer Khan fought a spate of injuries, that slowed him down, but never managed to knock him out. In 2006, Zaheer modified his run-up and action and became a much more clever bowler who relied on putting in the right lines with ample movement, unlike the time when he had made his debut and was a raw, express pacer.

He has years of experience playing cricket around the world, and was a competent T20 bowler as well, as shown during his time in the IPL, where he played for multiple franchises.

He played 92 Tests and 200 ODIs for India, the last of which was in 2014. Since his retirement, he has actively been involved in broadcasting.

The 40-year-old will be one of the biggest attractions of the T10 league, like his teammate for years, Virender Sehwag.
