Second Test - South Africa v India: Day Two
Harbhajan Singh

The Indian off-spinning great debuted for the country back in 1998 when he was still a teenager and then over the next decade and a half, went on to become one of the world's leading spin bowlers. He remains one of the most successful spin bowlers in the history of the game with a total of 417 wickets in Test wickets and much of his success was dependent on his inventiveness as a bowler.

He could turn the ball on most pitches and also bowl the arm ball, in addition to the doosra. On wearing pitches, he could be an extremely troubling proposition for the batting sides. However, when it came to caught-and-bowled dismissals, his figures are not as high as one would expect. Out of 417 wickets, only 13 were caught-and-bowled and considering the fact that Harbhajan is a safe catcher, it can be safely said that he did not drop too many that came his way.
