Kris Srikkanth is one of the most entertaining cricketers India has ever produced. A flamboyant opening batsman, Srikkanth is a part of the Indian side that lifted the 1983 Word Cup.

Kris Srikkanth was the highest scorer in the 1983 World Cup final on both sides with 38 runs. He brought a new dimension to ODI cricket in the early 80’s and had a hugely successful career.

Before hanging his boots, Srikkanth played 146 One Day Internationals for India and scored more than 4000 runs at an average of 29.01. With four hundreds and 27 fifties, the Tamil Nadu batsman played quite a few blistering knocks at the top for India.

Srikkanth featured in 23 World Cup games and scored 521 runs at an average of 23.68. Srikkanth has scored only two fifties in the World Cups with a highest score of 75 in the tournament.
