The 20-year-old from Punjab became a batting sensation after he scored 753 runs the 2017-2018 edition of the Ranji Trophy. He scored these runs in five matches at an average of 125.5 with three centuries and a 50 to his name. His average of 125.5 was also the best amongst the players with the most runs.

He carried on his good run into the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018 as he scored 314 runs in three games at an average of 141. His aggressive batting style got him these runs at a strike rate of over 100. With his impressive performances, he was slotted into the India Blue team for the Deodhar Trophy. The youngster was also a part of India under 19 team which ended Runners-Up in the 2016 Under-19 World Cup.

Recently in the final ODI in India A’s tour of New Zealand, he was given a chance to play. He opened the batting to top the Indian batting chart with an impressive 71 to guide India to put up 275 at the end of their 50 overs. The young batting sensation features in the 20 lakhs price bracket and will definitely be a player which every team would want to feature.
