Raman Lamba,1998 (age- 38)

Former Indian Test cricketer Raman Lamba died after getting hit on the head while fielding at short-leg during a league match in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Lamba was not wearing a helmet while fielding at short leg.

He went into coma three days after getting hit and was declared dead afterwards.

Ian Folley, 1993 (age- 30)

Once an England hopefull, Folley returned to cricket after a long lay-off in 1991. As the fate would have it, he got hit under the eye while batting during a domestic match. He was admitted to a hospital after the injury.

Folley suffered a heart attack while he was in the hospital and was pronounced dead afterwards.
