New Zealand v Sri Lanka - 2nd ODI
Marvan Atapattu was dismissed run out the highest number of times

Marvan Atapattu is one of the most prolific openers of all-time for Sri Lanka. He appeared in 268 matches and accumulated 8529 runs at an average of 37.57, accompanied by 11 hundreds and 59 fifties.

Though he had the skill and ability to score boundaries at will, he had a tough time running between the wickets. Atapattu holds the very infamous record for highest number of times a batsman got run-out with 41.

He had a run out percentage of 15.83 and was involved in a lot of horrible mix-ups during his playing days.
