Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan became one of the most successful brother duos for India. Among both the brothers, Yusuf Pathan being the elder one, made his first appearance in international cricket on 24 September 2007 during the World T20 Cup.

Despite being the younger brother, Irfan made his international debut before Yusuf in the year 2003 in a test series against Australia. The Pathan duo was an integral part of the Indian squad during 2007-10.
