Steve Smith is one of the most experienced cricketers playing on the international stage right now. The right-handed batter is a part of the Australian team competing against South Africa in the 2025 World Test Championship Final at the moment.

While their U-19 rivalry was not that popular, Kohli and Smith had a rivalry for the ages at the senior level. The two cricketers also had a lot of respect for each other, and Kohli even gave a warm hug to Smith after he ended his ODI career during the 2025 Champions Trophy.

Fast bowler Josh Hazlewood is also a member of the Australian playing XI in the ongoing 2025 WTC Final against South Africa. Hazlewood was a part of the Aussie squad in the 2008 U-19 World Cup.
