Shubman is considered the next poster boy of Indian cricket. The stylish right-hander from Punjab grabbed the Man of the Series award in the U-19 World Cup in 2018. Shubman Gill is often compared to Virat Kohli courtesy of the way he plays.

The use of the wrists, the stance and the presence at the crease certainly reminds one of a young Virat Kohli. Besides, both the players bat at No.3 for their respective teams. One can hope that he too would go on to achieve the same success at the international level like Virat Kohli has.
