ICC ODI batsmen rankings: AB de Villiers regains the top spot; Virat Kohli at third spot

South African ODI captain AB de Villiers went to the top of the ICC rankings table for batsmen after the latest update on Sunday following his team’s 6-wicket win over Australia in the triangular series final at Harare, Zimbabwe.

De Villiers now has 869 ranking points, 21 points ahead of fellow countryman Hashim Amla. Indian ODI No. 3 Virat Kohli also held on to his No. 3 spot despite below-par performances in the England series.

Joining Kohli in the list are his captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (6th) and Shikhar Dhawan (7th) with 771 and 740 points respectively. Dhawan scored an unbeaten 97 in his side’s convincing 9-wicket win in the 4th ODI at Edgbaston.
