The third edition of the revolutionary T10 League culminated last night in Abu Dhabi as Chadwick Walton’s whirlwind knock guided the Maratha Arabians to their maiden T10 League championship. Though the grand finale featured the tournament’s two best teams, Deccan Gladiators proved to be no match for the Arabians.

The batsmen decimated the bowlers in this year’s T10 tournament as the fans in U.A.E. witnessed some explosive innings at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium. The tournament featured some big names like Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Andre Russell, Eoin Morgan, Kieron Pollard, Shahid Afridi, Darren Sammy among many others. As a result, the viewership of the tourney witnessed a sharp rise.

#5 Andre Fletcher (Bangla Tigers)

Matches - 8, Runs - 186, Strike Rate - 195.78, Sixes - 19

The Bangla Tigers ended their T10 League campaign on a pleasant note by defeating the Qalandars in the 3rd place playoff. The Caribbean opener, Andre Fletcher was the lead performer for their side as he scored 186 runs for them at a decent average of 23.25.

He faced only 95 balls in the tourney and off them; he scored 8 fours and 19 sixes. The right-handed batsman played his best knock in the 3rd place playoff match. He took the likes of Peter Trego and Samit Patel to the cleaners during his 52-run knock which lasted 30 deliveries.

The 31-year-old batsman even picked up the Man of the Match award for his flamboyant knock. Besides, he had even scored 42 runs in a league match against Team Abu Dhabi.

The English all-rounder, Luke Wright had earned a contract from debutants Team Abu Dhabi because of his extraordinary record in various T20 leagues. Wright emerged as the best player from the home franchise as he scored 208 runs in just 6 innings at an average of 52.00.

He recorded one fifty in the tournament besides hitting 14 fours and 12 sixes. The 34-year-old Englishman played his best innings of the tourney against Karnataka Tuskers as he smashed 57 runs off 30 balls in his side's last game.

The former South African opener, Rilee Rossouw made his mark in the T10 League while playing for the Bangla Tigers. Rossouw hit one half-century and though he got out for a duck once, he finished at the third position on the batsmen's leaderboard.

The left-handed batsman smashed 11 sixes and 20 fours in the 8 matches he played while his best knock came against the Deccan Gladiators in the Eliminator. The 30-year-old batsman stayed unbeaten on 55 runs in that game yet his side could not slay the Gladiators.

The Australian all-rounder, Shane Watson led his team Deccan Gladiators from the front in T10 League 2019. He amassed 237 runs in the tournament at an average of 33.85 to guide his team to the grand finale. Although he could not sparkle against the Maratha Arabians, Watson impressed the cricket universe with his clean hitting.

He hit 22 fours and 14 sixes at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium along with registering two quick-fire half-centuries. His first fifty came against the Delhi Bulls where he played an innings of 75 runs against the Northern Warriors during his team's final league match.

T10 League 2019 was simply 'The Chris Lynn Show' as the Australian opener destroyed every bowling attack that he faced. Lynn's batting performances played a major role in the Arabians' title triumph as he scored 371 runs at an average of 53.00 in the tourney.

His strike rate of 236.30 showcases his dominance in the league and the 29-year-old batsman slammed four fifties for the Arabians. The right-handed batsman even broke the record for the highest individual score in a T10 match by playing an unbeaten knock of 91 runs against Team Abu Dhabi.
