Having registered a thrilling 7-wicket win against the Deccan Gladiators in their season opener, the Delhi Bulls will look to maintain their momentum when they face off against the Karnataka Tuskers for Match 5 of the 2019 Abu Dhabi T10 League at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Eoin Morgan was the architect of the Bulls win with a 27-ball 52* laced with 5 fours and 3 sixes as the Bulls skipper, in the company of Angelo Mathews (13-ball 22*) put up a 75-run stand from just 49 balls to ensure that his side scaled the 103-run target with three balls to spare.
The next challenge for the Bulls will be the Hashim Amla-led Karnataka Tuskers, a team which features some experienced players such as Marlon Samuels, Evin Lewis, Shapoor Zadran among others.
However, with Lewis, Fabian Allen and Kesrick Williams set to miss out from participating in the Tuskers' opening encounter due to their national commitments, Amla will hope for the youngsters to step up in their absence and bring about a win.
