Kuldeep Yadav has taken giant strides in international cricket over the last couple of years and has already become a huge asset for the Indian team in all three formats of the game and more so, in the limited-overs formats. He’s been simply magnificent in white-ball cricket and is India’s No. 1 spinner alongside side Yuzvendra Chahal.

The 24-year-old chinaman was the second highest wicket-taker in 2018 as he took 45 wickets 19 games at an average of 17.777, a strike-rate of 22.9 and an economy of 4.64. These are some staggering numbers and in an era where bat has dominated in white-ball cricket, Kuldeep has found a way to not only keep the runs down but also pick up wickets regularly.

This will be Kuldeep’s first ODI assignment in Australia and will once again be key for Virat Kohli and his men. In the lead up to the Test series, he played three T20Is and picked up 4 wickets and he hardly gave anything away.

Hence, he will be a major threat and the Aussie batsmen will have to be wary of him.
