South Africa had a good break after their tour of Sri Lanka in August 2018. Their next project of ODI and T20I series against Zimbabwe began in late September.

So, Hashim Amla decided to represent Barbados Tridents in the Caribbean Premier League. Amla, who played six games this season, injured his left little finger that forced him out of the action from the ongoing Zimbabwe series.

Shakib Al Hasan is one of the greatest cricketers Bangladesh have ever produced. Shakib, who already had injured a finger, sustained an injury again during the Asia Cup. His finger was fractured and needed immediate treatment.

So, he missed the last two games for Bangladesh in the Asia Cup and flew to Australia to get treatment. According to the doctors, he will require more time to recover his finger from an injury. The chances of his participation in the upcoming World Cup will be less.

Kedar Jadhav injured his hamstring during the game when he finished the thriller against Mumbai Indians. His hamstring injury ruled him out of the IPL 2018. He then recovered from an injury and returned to the International cricket in the Asia Cup.

But, the worst thing was he injured his other hamstring during the tournament. This forced him out of action and he has given a miss to ODI series against Windies. The 33-year-old is currently working on his fitness at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), Bangalore.
