Australia coach Darren Lehmann has named India as the favourites to lift the 2016 ICC World T20 title. The 46-year-old former-player-turned-coach felt that he couldn't see anybody defeating the Men In Blue in the last stage of the competition, that begins with the first semifinal between England and New Zealand on Wednesday.
“I can't see them losing, that's my personal opinion,” Lehman said.
“I think whoever won (between Australia and India) would go a long way in the tournament ... everyone thinks that around the world,” he added.
Australia were knocked out in the Group stages of the competition by the hosts, thanks to the brilliance of Virat Kohli, whose 82 not out of 51 balls helped them beat the Aussies by 6 wickets and qualify along with New Zealand into the final 4 of the competition.
If Lehmann’s prediction does come true, then India will become the 1st team to lift the T20 crown twice and in turn, MS Dhoni will also become the first captain to lead the side to two titles.

Heading into the match against the West Indies, India are currently unsure over the availability of Yuvraj Singh, who is suffering from an ankle injury and Manish Pandey has been called in as a stand-by for the all-rounder.
India take on the West Indies in the second semi-final on Thursday.
