Ravindra Jadeja only played the final, but he made a telling contribution. His 10 wickets proved crucial and it was the difference between the two sides in the final. He remains to be a genuine match-winner and this performance comes at just the right time for him.

A ten-for in the final of the Duleep Trophy would always remain one of his best performances ever. He ended with figures of 10/171 and nearly managed a 50 in the match as well.

He has dispelled any doubts over his selection ahead of the first Test.
