Duncan Fletcher might just dodge a bullet, after recent reports suggest that the BCCI are likely to persist with the Zimbabwean despite the Indian team’s horrific away record.

As per Headlines Today, with the World Cup around the corner, the BCCI are reluctant to make wholesale changes to the set up, that have been in place since the departure of South African Gary Kirtsen.

However, bowling coach Joe Dawes might not be as lucky, as the BCCI are becoming increasingly worried about the dismal performance of Indian bowlers in overseas conditions, and might prefer to look elsewhere.

“BCCI is concerned about the constant failure of the bowling attack even in overseas conditions.” said a report in Headlines Today.

Talks of a possible reshuffle behind the scenes gained momentum after the disastrous away series against New Zealand, with former England coach Andy Flower considered front-runner for the job.
