Dwayne Bravo's epic display of sportsmanship on Twitter

Dwayne Bravo thrived under Dhoni’s captaincy in the IPL

India and West Indies played out a memorable T20 World Cup semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. However, there had to be one winner on the night and it was the West Indies who managed to hold their nerve and pull off a 7-wicket victory.

However, the result of the semi-final has not changed anything about the relationship that players from both the teams share and the respect that they hold for each other. A proof of this was provided by West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo as he posted a picture of MS Dhoni with him after the match on Twitter.

Bravo also captioned the picture with the comments "Win, lose or draw ...always #macha #champion #respect."

Dhoni has shared a long association with Bravo, who has played under him for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. Many other West Indian players, too, share the same dressing room with the Indians across most other IPL franchises and have developed a great camaraderie among each other.

Dwayne Bravo's sporting gesture comes across as a brilliant example of restoring the spirit of the gentleman's game.
