Rajkot, Nov 9 (IANS) England posted 209/3 in their first innings at tea on the opening day of the first cricket Test against India at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium here on Wednesday.
For England, Joe Root (93 not out) and Moeen Ali (48 not out) were at the crease when umpires called for the break.
Ravichandran Ashwin took two wickets while Ravindra Jadeja scalped one wicket for the hosts.
