Jasprit Bumrah was intially touted as a bowler suited for the shorter format. His unique slinging action makes it difficult for the bastmen to pick him from the hand. His ability to bowl yorkers has earned him a number of wickets in the shorter formats.

Bumrah is just four matches old in tests and already has two fifers to his name. Both of these have come in overseas conditions and against quality oppositions like South Africa and England.

He bowls with a short run up but hurries on to the batsman and regularly clocks above 140 kmph. His ability to move the ball away from the right-handers with ease makes him an asset for the Indian team.
