R Ashwin needs to up his game in ODIs

Perhaps it's too early to say, but Kuldeep Yadav could be leading India's spin bowing attack going into the World Cup. He has something different to offer with his left-arm wrist spin and he has shown tremendous promise. But what stands out is his ability to pick up wickets in the middle overs.

Ravichandran Ashwin has dropped down in the pecking order for India in the limited overs game. However, he has been the backbone of the Indian bowling unit for quite a while now and the New Zealand series is the perfect opportunity to give him a chance to rejuvenate himself in limited overs cricket for India.

He would complete the bowling attack for India and would make it a force to reckon with. He just needs to be consistent with his performances. He has been in good form lately for Worcestershire at the county level, and his contributions with both bat and ball helped Worcestershire to win the Division two title and earn a promotion.
