It’s not just because Rahul Dravid has retired that people are showering him with praise, calling him a good man and a role model. Flash back to a few years ago, when Cyrus Broacha, with his team of the legendary ‘MTV Bakra’ show, tried the classic fake love prank on Dravid.
The prank succeeded too, but the joke really was on them. Dravid may have been branded the ‘bakra’ at the end of the show, but not before proving that he was made of stern stuff. Always the paragon of dignity and righteousness, Dravid puts the prankster in her place with some well-worded pearls of wisdom.
Of course, the prank eventually did get to him, and he tried making a run for it, but the country had seen enough. Dravid really IS a good man.
