Gaylestorm Getting Ready to Strike as Chris Gayle set to play His Hundredth Test Match

The thunderous all rounder Chris Gayle riding on the back of some poor show in the recently concluded IPL and battling some injuries is all set to hit the turf for the one hundredth time in Test cricket. The explosive West Indian is expected to achieve this feat at Jamaica against visitors New Zealand. This Test on June 8th will be the first match of the three match series.

Chris Gayle, one of a kind unorthodox batsman, has been the ace horse for West Indies over the years. He has the potential of virtually ripping apart all bowling attacks. There is not much one could say about his batting, you can just sit back and watch him bat. All the cricket fans are just left amused witnessing his wonderful stroke-play. He has 15 tons and 34 half centuries to his credit. He boasts a batting average of more than 42. Not only this he is also an handy all-rounder with 72 wickets to his name.

He has a huge fan following all around the world. Not only the above mentioned stats make him the blue eyed boy for the fans, but his typical Carribean approach and playing cricket with the utmost enthusiasm and fun takes him to the hearts of cricket fans. He has that charismatic personality and charm with an ever smiling face, which attracts followers to him.

This achivement could have come much earlier during the New Zealand tour, had he not sustained an injury while ODI series in India. But now finally stage is all set for the pinnacle event and everybody is waiting for him to achieve the milestone. He is working hard on form and fitness before taking the ground on June 8th.
