This was a tricky pitch. Balls were rearing up from a length and there was uneven bounce which created doubts in the batsmen’s mind. Stroke-making wasn’t the easiest on this pitch which was slow and sluggish. Hence, hunting down 152 was not going to be easy.

But the duo of Brandon King and Justin Greaves took the CWIB team home comfortably with 13 balls to spare.

The pair got together at 25/1 in the third over and started off cautiously. But once they found their groove there was no stopping them.

Greaves scored a very good unbeaten 89 in 58 balls as he struck 13 fours and two sixes in his innings. And on the other hand, King scored a run-a-ball 44. The duo shared an unbeaten 130-run partnership which drove the CWIB Team home.

This was CWIB’s third win on the trot and now they sit pretty at the top of the table. After a couple of close wins, this was their first comfortable win of the tournament.
