Royal Challenge Sports Drink have come up with a fan anthem for the Indian cricket team ahead of the 2016 ICC World T20 to be played in India. ‘Play Bold’ is the name of the song, which has been composed by Bollywood Salim Merchant and sung by Vishal Dadlani.
The video stars Indian captain MS Dhoni and vice-captain Virat Kohli with a lot of fans cheering on the Indian team to Play Bold.
India go into the tournament as huge favourites with home advantage expected to be a huge factor. The Men in Blue are also the top-ranked team in T20 internationals.
The Dhoni-led side has won 10 out of the 11 T20Is they have played this calendar year which includes a whitewash of Australia down under and an Asia Cup triumph in Bangladesh recently. India had mixed fortunes in the unofficial warm-up matches as they lost to South Africa on Saturday after beating the West Indies a couple of days earlier.
The World T20 kicks off on Tuesday with hosts India facing off against Kane Williamson-led New Zealand. India are grouped with New Zealand, Pakistan, Australia and Bangladesh/Oman in the Super 10 stage. The top two teams will qualify for the semi-finals.
