Images: ICC Champions Trophy 2013 final and post-match celebrations

Finally, this year’s edition of Champions Trophy came to an end and defending world champions India were crowned the victors. Even though it was a 50-over tournament, the final ended up being a 20-20 affair as the rain gods played spoilsport.

Despite all the rain interruptions, the patient spectators at the venue got to see a terrific final between the two best sides in the tournament – India and England. The match went down to the wire as India sneaked a 5-run win to lift an ICC 50-over trophy for the second consecutive time after they won the World Cup in 2011.
