India made a light work of the Aussies in day 4 of the fourth Test (March 28) at the HPCA stadium in Dharamsala as they beat the visitors by 8 wickets inside the first session of play. KL Rahul was the star of the show for India in the second innings as he scored an unbeaten 52, his second score of over 50 in the series, and was well backed by skipper Ajinkya Rahane, who was unbeaten on a 27-ball 38 with the help of four fours and two sixes.
With this, India clinched the four-match Test series against Australia 2-1 and India’s long home season came to an end. India played 13 Test matches out of which Kohli and his men came out victorious on 10 occasions losing just one match.
