Kuldeep Yadav - 8/10

The Uttar Pradesh youngster was the pick of the Indian spinners, bagging as many as 22 wickets in 14 matches. The highlight of his year was the hat-trick he picked against Australia in Kolkata. The chinaman was economical as well, bowling at an economy of less than 5.

Yuzvendra Chahal - 7.5/10

The leg-spinner was not far behind his fellow wrist-spinner in terms of wickets. He bagged 21 wickets in 14 appearances in ODIs and was as economical as Kuldeep.

Rohit Sharma - 9/10

Australia v India - Game 3

The hitman missed out on a couple of series due to an injury, however, in the 21 matches he played, he was at his imperious best. Smashing a total of 1293 runs, along with a double century, Rohit was second only to Virat Kohli in terms of runs scored. The Mumbaikar's runs came at an astonishing average of 71.83 and a strike rate of almost 100, courtesy 116 fours and 46 maximums. He slammed six hundreds and five half-centuries as well.

Jasprit Bumrah - 9/10

India v South Africa - ICC Champions Trophy

The 24-year-old pacer was easily one of the best limited-overs bowlers in the world. In 23 appearances, Bumrah bagged 39 wickets with the help of a fifer. The youngster was duly rewarded for his exploits in the LOIs with a place in the Indian Test squad for the South Africa tour.

Shikhar Dhawan - 7/10

India v Sri Lanka - ICC Champions Trophy

Though inconsistency has been an issue, Dhawan has more or less cemented his place along with Rohit at the top of Indian batting order for the 2019 World Cup. In 22 matches, the Delhiite smashed 960 runs at a strike rate of over 100. He slammed three centuries and six half-centuries as well.
