Ouch! Now this is some response to the 'India-South Africa' 'mauka' ad!
Star Sports have nailed it with their ‘Mauka Mauka’ advertisements in this World Cup. First, they took a dig at Pakistan cricket fans, unable to celebrate a victory against India in the World Cup since 1992.
Then, taking the banter a step further, they brought the concept to India-South Africa, with Indian fans on the receiving end this time around.
If you haven’t seen the new advert, it focuses on India’s winless record against the Proteas at the world event, having lost all 3 matches against the Rainbow nation so far.
There were plenty of attempts to ‘repond’ to these ads from across the border before the India-Pakistan clash, but none came close to the ‘burn’ that this video causes!
