Dinesh Karthik has been proclaimed as the finisher for Team India. He has taken over the mantle from the great MS Dhoni. While he has been successful as a finisher, he has not performed well when it comes to building an innings, and this has ultimately cost him a place in the ODI setup for the series against Australia.

But it is not the end of the road for DK as far as World Cup is concerned, as he can do well in the 2-match T20 series as well as the IPL that follows.
