India will look to consolidate their good run of form in home Tests as they look forward to a gruelling home season. Kane Williamson and his New Zealand team, on the other hand, will try to give the Indians a run for their money with their spirited performances. After taking over from Brendon McCullum, who retired recently, Williamson will look to inspire his young side to counter the challenging conditions in India.

Spin-friendly tracks, arid conditions will test the mettle of the Kiwi batsmen for sure. However, in the ODIs, the Kiwis might pose a lot of challenges for the Indian side which has struggled of late. India under MS Dhoni lost the ODI series at home to South Africa last year and they will look to bounce back for sure.
