Martin Guptill - 4

Guptill began New Zealand's chase with a bang as he smashed Bhuvneshwar Kumar for a six and two fours in the first three balls. However, he was dismissed off the fourth ball by the right-arm seamer.

Henry Nicholls - 6

Opening for the first time in ODIs in place of an out of form Colin Munro, Henry Nicholls scored an unbeaten 30 runs off 42 balls. Along with Ross Taylor, he helped New Zealand chase down the small target of 93 runs after the loss of two early wickets.

Kane Williamson - 3

Williamson's poor form in the ODI series continued as he was dismissed for just 11 runs by Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Ross Taylor - 7

New Zealand's best batsman of the series so far, Ross Taylor scored a quickfire unbeaten 37 runs off just 23 balls to lead New Zealand to a consolation victory.

Tom Latham - 5

The wicket-keeper batsman had a good day behind with the gloves as he took 2 catches. However, Latham did not get a chance to bat as Nicholls and Taylor finished off the chase for New Zealand.

Jimmy Neesham - 5

Back in the team after recovering from an injury, Jimmy Neesham did not get a chance to bat. The all-rounder could bowl just one over in which he dismissed Khaleel Ahmed.

Colin de Grandhomme - 8

De Grandhomme had a brilliant match with the ball. The all-rounder complemented Trent Boult vey well with a fine bowling spell of 10-2-26-3.

Mitchell Santner - NA

The left-arm spinner was a mere spectator on the field and did not get a chance to either bat or bowl.

Todd Astle - 5

Tod Astle was the only spinner to pick up a wicket in today's game when he dismissed Kuldeep Yadav in the two overs he got to bowl.

Matt Henry - 5

Replacing an out of sorts Lockie Ferguson in the playing XI, Matt Henry bowled well in his 8-over spell. However, he was unlucky not to pick up a single wicket.

Trent Boult - 9.5

Boult showed why he is the best left-arm fast bowler in the world. He single-handedly destroyed the strong Indian batting lineup with a brilliant spell of swing bowling. He bowled ten overs and picked up 5 wickets for 21 runs.
