The 18-year-old youngster made his debut for the Men in Blue in the 2nd ODI against Sri Lanka which was played at Mohali.

While he was a bit expensive in his 10 overs, he managed to pick up the wicket of Lahiru Thirimanne. Washington has been really impressive in the T20 format at the domestic level and will hope to make a mark for himself on the international stage as well if given a chance.

Yuzvendra Chahal, who has earned himself a much-needed rest, will probably make way for the youngster.

Hardik Pandya

ICC World Twenty20 India 2016:  India v Australia

The explosive and enigmatic 24-year-old has not made much of an impact with the bat in the T20I series so far. However, he has performed well with the ball as he managed to pick up three wickets in the first T20I.

He will hope to get back amongst the runs once again and help his side inflict a whitewash on the Sri Lankans.
