Khaleel Ahmed deserves a place in India's World Cup squad. The young left-arm pacer bowled impressively in the ODI series and took seven wickets in four matches. He finished the series as the joint-second highest wicket-taker after Kuldeep Yadav.
Khaleel also bowled at a tight economy-rate of 5.34. The team management would surely want to go with at least one left-arm fast bowler in the World Cup and enhance their variety to suit the English conditions.
The promising pacer can be expected to find a place in India's World Cup squad after his successful show in the West Indies series.
