What's the story?

After India leveled the three-match ODI series against Australia at the Adelaide Oval on Tuesday, Rohit Sharma, Dinesh Karthik, Vijay Shankar, and a few support staff members were seen spending some joyous moments at the Australian Open in Melbourne.

They attended the match between Rafael Nadal and Matthew Ebden which was played on Rod Laver Arena. Nadal won the match with ease, in straight sets.

In case you didn't know

After winning the historical Test series against Australia, India started the ODI series on a losing note. The visitors lost 34 runs at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) despite the heroic innings by Rohit Sharma.

However, the Men in Blue made a strong comeback in the second encounter at Adelaide, posting a comprehensive six-wicket win.

The heart of the matter

Rohit made a swashbuckling hundred in the first ODI and Karthik scored vital runs in India's chase in the second match. The Tamil Nadu born cricketer scored a handy 14-ball-25 to help the visitors cross the line comfortably.

In addition to them, Virat Kohli's ton and a half-century by MS Dhoni helped India win the 2nd ODI as well. Meanwhile, Shankar is yet to play a game. He was called up as a replacement for Hardik Pandya.

In a picture posted by Sharma across his social media accounts, the Indian team members were seen enjoying Nadal's match at the Australian Open in Melbourne. All of them were seen enjoying the tennis at Melbourne Park. The Tweet can be seen below:
