Ireland Inter-Provincial T20 Trophy 2025: Full schedule, squads, match timings, and live-streaming details

The 13th edition of the Ireland Inter-Provincial T20 Trophy, hosted by Cricket Ireland, is all scheduled to start on Tuesday, June 17 and conclude by Thursday, July 10. Over the span of four weeks, 24 matches will be played across four venues.

The tournament will be played in a quadruple round-robin format, with each team facing each opponent four times across four venues (Cork, Belfast, Bready, and Dublin).

The four teams participating in the tournament are Leinster Lightning, Munster Reds, North West Warriors, and Northern Knights. Leinster Lightning are the defending champions and the most successful team with eight trophies, while Northern Knights and North West Warriors have won two trophies each.

In the last edition of the tournament, Leinster Lightning finished as table-toppers with 34 points (seven wins) from nine games and were therefore crowned as champions. Munster Reds are yet to win a trophy since their debut in the 2017 edition.

Tim Tector was the top scorer of the season with 267 runs, while Ross Adair and Cade Carmichael followed with 245 runs. Matthew Foster emerged as the leading wicket-taker, bagging 13 wickets for the Northern Knights, while Josh Manley and Thomas Manes picked up 12 and 11 scalps, respectively.

The competition is poised to gain significantly from the strong presence of senior international players alongside a promising influx of emerging talents advancing to the next level. The inclusion of international stars such as Paul Stirling, Andrew Balbirnie and George Dockrell, combined with rising prospects like Craig Young and Josh Little, adds considerable excitement and depth to the tournament.
