Kohli and Raina only Indians in the top 10 in ICC T20 rankings

In the latest ICC T20 batsmen rankings released in Dubai on Friday, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina are only the two Indians to be ranked among the top 10. Kohli holds the eighth position with 731 points. Following him at ninth position is Suresh Raina with 719 points. New Zealand’s hard hitting wicket-keeper Brendon McCullum leads the table with 810 points.

The other Indian players among the top 20 are Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir, ranked 14 and 18 respectively. However, India have managed to hold on to the third spot in the T20 team rankings. Sri Lanka tops the table in the shortest format with the current T20 world champions West Indies taking the second spot.

Regarding the T20 bowlers ranking, tall off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is the only Indian among the top 20 with West Indian spinner Sunil Narine occupying the summit in the latest rankings.
