Raina knows that he needs to impress if he makes the cut for the upcoming tours

Not picked for the ongoing Asia Cup, Suresh Raina will be hoping to impress in the Vijay Hazare Trophy that starts later this week. He has been named as captain of Uttar Pradesh and will be keen to lead them to glory and rack up the runs as well as he hopes to be back in the Indian side in time for next year's World Cup.

With India having 24 more ODIs before the start of the World Cup and the West Indies series coming up next month, Raina will be looking to impress and earn a recall to the national side. Along with him, Ankit Rajpoot who was impressive for Kings XI Punjab and his recent performances for the A-team will hope to earn a call-up with a strong Vijay Hazare Trophy.
