New Zealand batsman Lou Vincent has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. However, the way he announced his retirement was quite surprising, as Vincent did it via social networking site Twitter. Vincent made his Test debut against Australia on 30th November, 2001, in total scored 1332 runs at an average of 34.15 in Tests with a best of 224. In ODIs, Vincent scored 2413 runs at an average of 27.11, with a best score of 172 runs, and in 9 T20I matches for the Black Caps, he managed 174 runs at an average of 19.33 with a best of 42. In all, Lou Vincent played 563 matches, scoring 17577 runs. Lou Vincent’s last competitive cricket match was in the BPL (Bangladesh Premier League) for Khulna Royal Bengals.
