Australian quick Mitchell Johnson, who retired from Test cricket, has backed his fellow team-mate Mitchell Starc and has declared that Starc will dominate against South Africa. South Africa, who are visiting Australia in the summer, will face the hosts on November 3, 2015 at the WACA.
Perth is renowned for its fast, bouncy track and Starc should look forward to relishing the conditions. The left-arm fast bowler who took 24 wickets in the recently conclude Test Series in Sri Lanka would draw confidence from his performances in the Lankan Island.
Typically, the sub-continent conditions are such that the wickets are devoid of any pace, conditions that are best suited for spin bowling.

Johnson has lauded Starc's performance as he said, “To be the leading wicket taker in Sri Lanka in those conditions is a real positive and a real step forward. He can dominate again. On wickets that are going to provide bounce and with his height, it’s going to be very difficult."
Regarding Starc's bowling, Johnson has been impressed by how he bowls a fuller length while swinging the ball and uses his height to generate bounce off any wicket. Johnson also praised his successor's yorker saying it was "very dangerous".
“He definitely gets the ball up there and especially on a wicket like the WACA where it can get good bounce, it’s really vital to be up there. He’ll swing the ball when he pitches the ball up. That yorker he’s got is very dangerous and he’s always working to improve his game."

The former Test quick, who has 313 dismissals in 73 Test matches, also mentioned that at 26, Starc is still young and he will break many records in the upcoming future.
“He’s still pretty fresh in test cricket. He’s only going to get better. He’s going to keep breaking records as well. It’s really exciting to see him playing really well.”
Mitchell Starc currently holds the record for bowling the fastest ball ever bowled in Test cricket, when he delivered a rapid thunderbolt at 160.4 Km/hr against New Zealand in 2015. He has the hunger to improve his game and will surely look to break many world records, one at a time.
Johnson is all set to star for the Perch Scorchers in the Big Bash League and promised to be "as quick" as he could.
