#2 Dale Steyn, Shikhar Dhawan move up in the ICC rankings

Dale Steyn and Shikhar Dhawan move up in their respective departments in the latest ODI rankings released by ICC earlier today.

Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan has moved up one position to eight while Dale Steyn who was having a sensational comeback in the Australia series moved up nine positions to reach 15th spot. Ross Taylor achieved a career-best ranking as a consequence of excellent series against Pakistan. He is now at third spot, behind Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

South Africa's Faf du Plessis moved up three places to reach seventh while Fakhar Zaman jumped six positions to reach 11th spot.

Among the bowlers, Yuzvendra Chahal moved up three positions along with Adil Rashid to share the 5th spot. Josh Hazlewood and Imran Tahir slipped two and four places to 9 and 11th position respectively.

Although Virat Kohli missed the Windies series, he remains at the top in the ODI rankings for batsmen. Jasprit Bumrah holds the top position in the bowlers' rankings.
